Lead FALA Consultant & Trainer
Before retiring from AHCA in 2009, Alberta served as the Manager of the Assisted Living Unit at the Agency for Health Care Administration for 12 years and a total of 35 years in Florida government in various roles. Alberta trains in Tallahassee, Panama City, Gainesville, and Pensacola. She provides Adult Family Care Home training in designated areas in the state and Alzheimer's training. DOEA's ALF registration number #032, Approved Alzheimer's Trainer number ALF 1130, ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification number 10359.
Anna Lopez
Director of Professional Development
Anna is a former ALF surveyor supervisor with AHCA and worked with AHCA for nine years. She has held various positions in the health care arena, including an ALF Administrator. Anna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Masters in Forensic Psychology and Healthcare Administration. She also holds certifications in the following areas: ServSafe Food Protection Manager #16555386, ALF Core Certificate Registration #059, Alzheimer's Approved Trainer #7131, and Care Giving for the aging adult. Anna is also fluent in Spanish.
Marlene Hunter

Marlene is a former AHCA Surveyor and coordinator for the ALF Program, a former nationally Certified Health Care Investigator and a Certified ALF Administrator. Marlene is also an approved trainer for Alzheimer's Level 1 and 2 for ALF's, ALF #154. Marlene has more than 35 years of experience as an educator. In addition to the CORE Training for Administrators, managers, and staff, she currently teaches Adult Family Care Home, ALF Continuing Education, and Extended Congregate Care classes.
Charlie Grice

Charlie has 23 years of experience in long-term care. Charlie worked in Skilled nursing as DON and became a nationally certified Long Term Care Director of Nursing and Geriatric Nurse. She has worked in ALF as a DON and Administrator, educator, and Risk Manager. She is ALF CORE certified. She is an approved Instructor for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders ALF # 649. Charlie Currently is a consultant nurse for, LNS, ECC, Risk Management and Education for several Assisted Living Facilities in Pensacola area. Charlie also teaches four (4) and two (2) hour medication classes in the Panhandle.
Alnesha Love

Alnesha Love is a Registered Nurse and has over 10 years of nursing experience. Alnesha has worked for the Agency for Health Care Administration as a former State Surveyor. Surveying Long Term Care Facilities, Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care, Home Health, Psychiatric Hospitals, Hospice, and Assisted Living Communities. She has worked as an AVP of Clinical Services, Administrator and DON for various Assisted Living Communities in various States. Alnesha is SMQT Certified through Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Alnesha is an Assisted Living Alzheimer’s and Disease Related (ARD) Training Provider through the University of South Florida ALF #8916 an American Heart Association BLS CPR and First Aid Instructor in addition to having experience training non licensed personnel to assist with medications. Alnesha is Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Gerontological Nursing , core certified through the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and a Servsafe manager certificate#15215538.
Kwanza Bryant

Kwanza is the Executive Director of Water’s Edge of Lake Wales, a 137-bed upscale senior living community, located in Lake Wales, FL, geared toward supporting seniors to age in place. Kwanza completed her Bachelor’s Degree at Florida A&M University and later earned a Master’s Degree in HealthCare Administration from Troy State University. She has worked in many facets of healthcare as a Memory Care Director, Marketing Director, Sales & Marketing trainer, CPR Instructor and a certified Alzheimer ’s Disease or Related Disorders training provider #ALF 8726. Over the course of her 10 plus year career as an Executive Director, she has managed four (4) different senior care organizations, both as an Executive Director and as a member of board of directors for senior care providers. Kwanza states her passion is being a voice and advocate for aging seniors.
