Scholarships for YouThe Florida Assisted Living Foundation (the “Foundation”) is committed to promoting and advancing the education of our members and the assisted living profession. To demonstrate this commitment, the Foundation provides several scholarships annually for staff enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program in nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, gerontology, nutrition/dietary, or clinical social work. Other aging or health related fields may also be considered, however, preference will be given to those degree programs mentioned.
The scholarship process is open annually from January 1st - November 30th of each year. The current award amount is $750.00. Applications and any accompanying documents to include letters of reference must be received during the time periods noted. Your application must be received prior to June 30th of each year in order to compete for the August award. In order to compete for the January award, your application must be submitted by November 30th of each year. If reference forms are available during that time period. Instructions and general information remain available year round. |
