Brain Health Fitness Speaker: Marghi McClearn, Brain Health Trainer Tallahassee Memorial Hospital
Ageless Grace Brain Health is a brain/body fitness program based on the science of neuroplasticity, consisting of 21 brain and body tools to stay functionally youthful at any age. Ageless Grace is a seated program that can be used as a developmental tool for children, a maintenance tool for adults, and a restorative tool for seniors. Nia is a fusion dance/fitness program that improves mobility, conditioning, and body awareness. Nia is drawn from martial arts, dance, and the healing arts.
After 31 years of teaching music in the Elementary Schools, Marghi retired to pursue her passion for improving the quality of life for people through music and movement. Her goal is to encourage people to feel their best, move more comfortably, and maintain their zest for life no matter their age or mental or physical challenge.
Currently, Marghi is contracted by Tallahassee Memorial Hospital’s Memory Disorder Clinic, Elder Care Services, and works closely with the Alzheimer’s Project in Tallahassee, Florida. Marghi facilitates weekly classes for people with Parkinson’s at the North Florida Parkinson’s Outreach Association and has taught Ageless Grace in assisted living facilities, memory care units, and in and around Tallahassee.
