Since 1974, The Arc of Putnam County has provided advocacy, individually tailored living environments, meaningful day activities, work training and employment services to enable people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential and enrich our community. The Arc of Putnam County is committed to offering the highest quality care in residential services. All community-home residents receive individualized training to increase or maintain skills in self-care, daily living, community safety, and the pursuit of personal goals. Other training opportunities include making and exercising personal choices, understanding individual human rights, medications and their uses and side effects, and basic education in areas of personal interest.
