GeneID Lab is the leading provider of pharmacogenomic testing (PGx) in the senior living space. PGx is used to determine residents’ genetic compatibility with over 150 medications – mostly psychotropic, pain, cardiac and neurological. We are presently active in over 4,000 communities nationwide.
PGx testing is recognized, approved and covered by CMS (since December 2021) as a valuable tool to be used for improving medication therapy and reducing adverse drug outcomes.
Our unique turnkey solution uses proprietary software to identify eligible residents and deliver actionable recommendations without creating work for staff or disturbing existing workflows. Allowing us to:
- Reduce polypharmacy
- Reduce adverse drug reactions, falls and hospitalizations
